Rasha Abueid is the R&D Supervisor for Certified Laboratories, supporting Cosmetics, OTC, and Dietary Supplement testing. She holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a master's degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Jordan. She began her career as an analytical chemist during her university studies and later performed drinking water testing at the Jordanian Water Authority.

Rasha spent over four years at Medisca, specializing in USP monograph testing of pharmaceutical raw materials. In her current role, she manages and coordinates method validation, verification, and method transfer across Certified Laboratories’ Cosmetics, OTC, and Supplement locations. Her expertise includes chromatography, GMP practices, HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and method validation and verification in regulated laboratory environments.

Dale Eatherly

With over 8 years of experience in dietary supplement testing at Certified Laboratories, Dale Eatherly brings extensive expertise in quality, compliance, and laboratory operations.

For the past four years, Dale served as Quality Manager for the Tustin, Calif., Laboratory, with experience in ISO 17025, FDA remediation, and broader quality and compliance initiatives.

Currently serving as Business Development Manager for the Central West region, Dale works closely with clients to support their laboratory and testing needs while bringing a strong foundation in quality and regulatory compliance.

Shelly Blackwell

Senior Director, Dietary Supplement

Shelly Blackwell brings over 22 years of quality and compliance experience in highly regulated environments to the EAS Consulting Group. After starting her career as a Microbiologist, she gained expert knowledge of a variety of domestic and international regulations while holding senior leadership positions in the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. These positions include 7 years as the Quality Assurance Director for GNC / Nutra Manufacturing and most recently leading the Quality Systems and Compliance Team at Bausch and Lomb in Greenville, SC.

Shelly’s accomplishments while leading Quality teams include developing supplier qualification programs, sourcing and implementing electronic QMS systems, implementing inspection readiness programs resulting in improved regulatory standing, risk-based quality system development, data integrity program development, and numerous successful continuous improvement initiatives. She has lead FDA and other regulatory inspections throughout her career and is also a lead auditor herself, auditing raw material suppliers and finished product manufacturers all over the world. Shelly holds certifications from the American Society of Quality and the Institute of Food Technology and has a Biology degree from James Madison University.
